students can choose either staying with a nearby native family, or guesthouses without meals, or guesthouses with meals. These guesthouses, which feature kitchenettes, are limited in number, so reserve them early.
One of the highlights of the school is its fun and lively extra-curricular activities. The institute provides full day and overnight field trips.
Among the destinations are Teotihuacán, the Museo de Antropología, the Centro Histórico, the Xochicalco archeological site, and the Oaxaca Guelaguetza Festival.
