If you want to learn Spanish in Mexico, there are a variety
of Spanish language schools to choose from. Mexico
is the eighth largest nation in the world, the
third largest nation in Latinamerica.


Have you ever thought about what it would be like to learn Spanish in Mexico? There are Spanish language schools in many parts of the country where you will get the opportunity to enjoy fantastic weather, warm friendly people and a sense of culture and history not seen anywhere else.

Some of the places where you can learn Spanish in Mexico include Guadalajara, Cuernavaca, Acapulco, Mexico City, Puerto Vallarta, Playa del Carmen.

Choosing Acapulco, Puerto Vallarta or Playa del Carmen will put you right into a resort location where you will find that many of the people at the hotels and tourist attractions also speak English.

The best way to learn Spanish in Mexico is to attend classes at one of the many schools available and practice the language as much as you can. Cactus language has schools in seven locations in the country. These schools are part of a worldwide chain of language schools with exceptional course materials and well-trained instructors.

Learning Spanish in Mexico through these courses, you will learn to listen and speak the language to be able to function fully in a Spanish-speaking society. There are comprehensive activities, such as Mexican cooking and dance classes, so that you have every opportunity to practice what you learn and learn all about the Mexican culture.

Learning Spanish in other Latinamerican countries is quite different from learning Spanish in Mexico. There are several dialects within the country and the cities bordering the Caribbean have more of a Caribbean dialect to the language. The language spoken here is sort of a middle ground between the Spanish of South America and the Caribbean.

If you choose Guadalajara as your destination, the IMAC institute offers intensive Spanish lessons. This school has over 35 years of experience in teaching Spanish to foreign language students and in that time it has gained a reputation of being one of the finest schools in the country.

It offers an array of courses to choose from if you want to learn Spanish in Mexico. Conversational Spanish, Spanish for business, for teachers, for medical personnel or for any other use. As a student of this school, you can stay with a host family and become immersed in the language and the culture.

If you prefer to stay at a hotel, the hotels offer discounts to students so that your accommodations will not be too expensive for a longer stay.

The Spanish Institute has a program to learn Spanish in Mexico with its school located in Puebla, Mexico, which is also a holiday resort. As a student of this school, you will be immersed in language and culture for up to 16 hours a day.

The instructors all have college degrees and the classrooms are quite comfortable and conducive to learning Spanish in Mexico. There are excursions to historic and cultural sites in the city and surrounding areas to compliment all the classroom learning. You can stay with a host family, carefully chosen by the school for the duration of the 4 week course.

There are five levels of courses to learn Spanish in Mexico available and each one has classes in the morning and the afternoon. The morning is devoted to learning different components of the language in a class of no more than 6 students and the afternoon is time for you to have private instruction and practice what you have learned with a native speaker.

Both high school and university students can take part in a student exchange program to learn Spanish in Mexico. For high school students, the courses are four to six weeks in duration and are offered at high schools throughout the country.

The students stay with host families in each location and attend high school on a regular basis. There are also summer classes available or students can choose one semester or stay for the whole year.

The Center for Bilingual Multicultural Studies in Cuernavaca offers an exchange program to learn Spanish in Mexico whereby students can study at this college for one semester while Mexican students can travel to another university for the same length of time.

This offers students the opportunity to study another language and learn about another culture while pursuing undergraduate degrees.
