For easy site navigation, here's a site map to quickly
find any page on Learn Spanish Resource Center.

Why Learn Spanish?

The audio file on the Home Page of our site points out many different facts which serve as good reasons why we should seriously consider learning to speak fluent Spanish. The combined population for both the United States and Europe is roughly 600,000,000 people and Spanish is the most popular language to learn in both these countries.

In fact, Spanish is the second language in the world used as a vehicle of international communication and the third language in the world as an international language of politics, economics and culture. So just these few facts, in and of themselves, are compelling reasons why more English-speaking Americans should learn Spanish as a second language.

Spanish For Kids

There are some children who have the luxury of learning to speak both English and Spanish practically from the time they're born, like my daughter Kianna for example. But for all the other children who are born into single language households of predominantly English, their only exposure to Spanish is at school.

For those kids, we are continually developing study aids to help them with their homework and other school work.

Beginners

Having learned Spanish from scratch, we were once beginners because we were not fortunate enough to have been born into a bilingual family. So we are very familiar with all the frustrations and aggravations that come along with learning Spanish. Even though it’s been nearly 25 years since we first started, we still vividly remember all the trials and tribulations we agonized with.

We sincerely want to spare you all those trying times as much as we can, which is why we’ve created this web site to begin with.

Spanish For Adults

Everyone knows that the older you get the more difficult it is to learn something as complex as a foreign language. We don’t aspire to the old adage: “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks”, which is why we applaud all the adults who put forth the effort to learn Spanish in their later years.

It is also for that reason that we have dedicated this section to providing the help adults need to help them along this path of learning a new language.

Professionals

More and more professionals, are recognizing the need to learn Spanish in order to be carry out their duties more fully. This section has been tailored to them because each profession brings along with it its very own set of words and jargon common their industry.

Video Tutorials

Due to the hectic schedules we all face these days, we need the flexibility to study at our own pace in the comfort and privacy of our own home. More and more online universities are offering online classes to fit the individual student’s schedule.

Using that same concept, we are developing high quality videos that you can watch as many times as you need until you feel comfortable with that lesson or concept. You will be able to watch these video tutorials from the comfort of your own home.

We will be developing these online video courses at various different levels so that you can continue to move forward in your understanding. You will want to subscribe to these online tutorials so as not to find yourself stagnate as this is very common.

You will, in effect, have your very own personal tutor taking you by the hand and leading you in the right path.

Spanish Food & Recipes

It goes without saying that all cultures have their own styles of food. As another free service to you and a means of providing more great content, these web pages are dedicated to pointing out all the different dishes or “platillos” as we say in Spanish, along with the actual recipes you can copy and use for yourself.

Spanish Music/Dance

As with the food, music and dance are very much a part of the Latinamerican culture. In fact, we strongly encourage anyone wanting to learn Spanish to really immerse themselves in the culture, which of course, includes both music and dance.

This section will help you do that if you so choose. We’ll be providing you with all the different types of music and dance for your listening and learning pleasure.

Free Spanish Translation

The purpose of this section is to provide a spanish translation service free-of-charge. There are a lot of other web sites that offer similar services. However, the stark difference is that we actually translate your documents with the use of "real" human beings, not an online software program.

Tips And Tools

This section is designed to provide help and assistance with learning Spanish by offering all kinds of products, i.e., books, software, cds, workbooks, downloadable mp3 audio files, etc. all geared to helping you improve your Spanish language skills.

Latinamerican Travel

Latinamerica and Europe offer a plethora a distinct cultures and Spanish expression. We strive to capture that for each and every Spanish-speaking country within the pages of this section. Whenever we come across something new and interesting it will be added to this section for your reading pleasure.

A form has been provided so that you can tell us about any school you don't see listed that you may personally know about.

Not only that, but this is also an excellent way to sharpen your awareness for idioms – everyday expressions that are very much apart of both Spanish as well as English.

Spanish Radio

Thanks to modern technology we can actually listen to the radio over the Internet, another perfect way to train your ear to the Spanish language, i.e., listening to the music and simply repeating what your hear.

Current

Unfortunately, when traveling to a foreign country, we must keep ourselves informed about the political climate of that country beforehand to avoid putting ourselves in the middle of political crises. This section is intended to deliver up-to-date current news pertaining to all the Latinamerican and Spanish-speaking countries we feature throughout this site.

Spanish Resources

This section of the site provides what we consider to be other related and useful information provided by other sites that we endorse. Our partner sites must meet very strict criteria in order for us to endorse and partner up with them.

That’s how important we value you and your time as one of our web site visitors.

Bilingual Jobs Search

Every time I go online and perform a bilingual jobs search, I notice an abundance of opportunities available for bilinguals. I've been noticing a trend with businesses of all sizes. They are coming to the realization that the Latinamerican market is not one to be ignored when it comes to selling their goods and services.

And, as a result, these very companies are creating entire deparments for the sole purpose of hiring people with English and Spanish communication skills.

For this reason, the Learn Spanish Resource Center is obliged to provide this added resource for your convenience.

Learn Spanish Blog

Our blog is about what’s new on our site and the latest developments on new products designed to make learning Spanish easier and faster.
