Typical
Peru
Food

Typical Peru food exhibits a taste of Peruvian flavor
hard to replicate. Aji de gallina, Peruvian potato
ssalad, leche asada. There is a distinct spice
and flair you can enjoy if you choose
to prepare any of these delights.
"A Taste of Peruvian Flavor"

The wonderful thing about Hispanic influence is that you find similarities wherever you find the source of that same influence.

Spanish rule did many things all around the world, including incorporate the creative nature of their menu into the local creativity that may already have existed.

Many creations would be available in all the different Hispanic countries. You will find quite interesting choices and transitions from one culture to another. Peru would consist of a perfect example of taking their traditions and infusing the Hispanic flair within it.

Two incredible recipes have appeared. Those two include a recipe most would hardly imagine would be influenced by Hispanic culture. Potato salad, yet this is unlike any potato salad experienced unless you’ve been to Peru or are of Peruvian descent.

Creamed chicken is a typical dish for the evening meal; the potato salad would be an appetizer or side dish. The very first thing you will see is the word aji. Aji is the Spanish word for hot and you’ll see it means hot peppers in the Aji de gallina or piquant creamed chicken.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a country influenced by Spanish culture if it hadn’t at least a little spice or zing to it.

As always, we find the flan or the South American equivalent to it with Peruvian flair this time. This one is known as Leche Asada and has a most intriguing flavor.

This intriguing flavor is done almost identically to all the others, suave temperature and a few other slight differences.

It is quite the intriguing set of recipes to consider that with a meal of chicken we could have no less than one side dish, and more than likely many at one time along with this delectable dessert. Finding the flavors of Peru may be as close as your own kitchen with recipes like these.
